Six-hundred pound elk falls through a window into man's Idaho basement and takes nearly three hours to be coaxed outside again

• The animal had smashed through a Plexiglass window and was left with a cut on its neck


• It nearly had to put down after the rescue team had been trying to free it for over two and a half hours


• The elk eventually ran up the stairs and out of house to join its herd
